Olga Bacatan

Accounting Manager

Olga began her career in property management accounting more than 20 years ago. Early on, she developed a solid foundation in providing functional financial reports that her readers could understand and use – an approach that our clients appreciate today.

Olga learned the accounting side of leasing and property management at the Hudson’s Bay Company and, from there, quickly worked her way up to supervisory roles in property management, and lead roles on accounting process and client reporting improvements. She gained extensive experience with large retail and office properties through her work for clients such as Investors Group and LaSalle Investment Management.

Over the years, Olga worked for several international property management companies, serving in senior accounting roles, developing accounting systems and training staff in accounting and reporting functions. Her portfolio included multiple office, industrial, retail and residential properties in the Lower Mainland, including Central City Office Tower and Guildford Town Centre in Surrey, the Telus Building in Burnaby, London Plaza in Richmond, and Royal City Centre in New Westminster.

Olga’s extensive experience means that she can help clients with a range of issues, including setting up a property during management transition, commissioning new buildings, and accounting support during a property’s purchase or sale.

Our accounting team’s work goes well beyond simple recordkeeping for our clients’ properties. We provide the numbers that matter to them – offering them financial analysis in areas such as budgets and leasing. We help them balance goals such as keeping up with building maintenance plans, while keeping costs reasonable for tenants. We work with our internal property management team, as well as our clients’ asset managers and consultants, to create a solid picture of future plans and current progress for building projects, as well as day-to-day operational goals
